The Agentic Standards Map
W3C, IETF, GS1, UN/CEFACT, the Linux Foundation, the Agentic AI Foundation and the industry protocols are all working at once on how an AI agent finds a seller, trusts a product, proves who it acts for, and pays. The Agentic Standards Map, maintained by Francesco Marinoni Moretto, puts them on one page: 62 entries, each one dated and sourced.
We have documented every specification on it in this catalog. 42 of the 62 entries link to a catalog entry; the rest are working groups, draft charters and events, which are listed below with the map's own status. Status text is quoted from the map (CC BY 4.0), as of the date shown. For the current state, and every source, go to the map itself or its map.json.
The four seams
The map's most useful idea is the seam: a question every venue is answering separately, where the answers have to meet. These are the entries the map places on each one.
