Open Micro Frontend Platform

The Open Micro Frontend Platform (OpenMFP) extends Platform Mesh with frontend development principles, enabling the dynamic integration of services into one portal experience. It ships Node client and server libraries for building micro-frontend portals, plus scaffolding tools. Software; Apache 2.0.

OpenMFP is the user-interface side of Platform Mesh: services contribute their own frontends into a shared portal. It is part of NeoNephos, a Linux Foundation Europe project.

  • Libraries - portal-ui-lib and portal-server-lib, with create-portal and create-micro-frontend scaffolding.
  • Quiet - Its portal repository’s latest release dates from September 2025.
